With over 20 years of medical experience, Maureen is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) and the main provider at MOTOX Skin Science. She began her career as a registered nurse, working on a medical-surgical floor in Vermont before advancing to intensive care in Boston. In 2009, Maureen pursued specialized training in anesthesiology and has spent the past 13 years providing anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures in the Portland area.

Maureen’s background as an anesthesia provider uniquely positions her in the field of aesthetics, combining precision with needles and a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Since 2020, she has undergone extensive aesthetic training, including education at the award-winning Beautiphi Academy. She remains committed to ongoing education to stay at the forefront of aesthetic advancements, continually refining her techniques to ensure the highest levels of safety and efficacy for her clients.
