With over 20 years of medical experience, Maureen is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) and the lead provider at MOTOX skin science. She began her career as a registered nurse on a medical-surgical floor in Burlington, Vermont, before transitioning to cardiac intensive care in Boston, Massachusetts. During her time at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, she gained extensive critical care experience before pursuing specialized education and training in anesthesiology.
After earning her nurse anesthesia degree from the University of New England (UNE) in 2011, Maureen has spent the past decade+ providing anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures in the Portland area.
Beyond her clinical experience, Maureen was the coordinator for Student Registered Nurse Anesthesiologists at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, she has participated in three medical mission trips to Ecuador and Uganda, and currently serves as President-Elect of the Maine Association of Nurse Anesthesiologists.
Her background in anesthesia uniquely positions her in the field of medical aesthetics, where her precision with needles, combined with her deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, ensures exceptional patient care. Since 2020, Maureen has undergone extensive aesthetic training, including education at the award-winning Beautiphi Academy. She remains dedicated to continuous learning, staying at the forefront of aesthetic advancements to deliver the highest levels of safety, efficacy, and natural looking results for her clients.
