What is PRP?
PRP is plasma that contains white blood cells and platelets, both of which play a critical role in regeneration. When injected into areas of thinning hair, these growth factors improve blood supply and stimulate dormant follicles to grow new hair.
What is the process?
A small blood sample will be taken and then processed to concentrate the platelets. The resulting "liquid gold" is then injected into areas of thinning.
How many treatments should I have?
For best results, 6 treatments are recommended with improvement typically being seen after 3-4 treatments.
Will this treat baldness?
Unfortunately, PRP hair injections will not treat baldness, you must have follicles present in order to be a candidate.
